  1. Easier and more specific searching in LS2 Staff
  2. Records added on-the- fly without an ISBN will never upgrade to a full MARC record.


  3. ISBN’s are used in LS2 Products to automatically import Accelerated Reader and Lexile level information for display in LS2 Staff, LS2 PAC and LS2 Kids.


  4. ISBN’s are used to display matches for Categories and Series in LS2 Kids


  5. ISBN’s are used to display book jackets in LS2 PAC
