Instructions to change Titlewave MARC specification
Step 1: Go to vlibrary.freshdesk.com and click on “How should the Vendor MARC files be formatted for LS2?”.
Step 2: Highlight and copy from the "Barcode Symbology," “Format” and “852 Subfields” specifications.
Including the example is not required. If you choose to include the example, please change the “999” after “$a” and in the example barcode to your 3-digit school code.
Step 3: Login to your school’s Titlewave account and click on “Your Account” then “Cataloging & Processing”.
Step 4: Click on “Edit Options” under “Book Specifications”. Paste copied specifications in the box. Click “Save Changes”. Repeat for “A/V Specifications”.
MARC specifications should be updated to the appropriate settings for all subsequent orders.
NOTE: It seems like the main Backroom errors come from either not having the correct 3 digit school code in the holding code field AND/OR the price has extra information like a p, $, or usd, The price should ONLY include a numerical value.
