Can I check out ebooks from the Hawaii State Public Library from my HIDOE Sora account?

Yes, as of April 6, 2020, all Hawaii Department of Education (HIDOE) students can connect their HIDOE Shared eBook Collection (aka Sora) account to the Hawaii State Public Library's OverDrive eBook Collection.  This feature provides students the ability to explore age-appropriate ebooks from the Hawaii State Public Library.

In the App

1.  Install the Sora app from the Apple Store or Google Play Store. 2.  In Sora, enter the setup code: HIDOE 3.  Under your Profile, select Add a public library and enter the Hawaii State Public Library System. 4. To borrow a title, choose "Hawaii State Department of Education" from the drop-down, and sign in with your HIDOE 10-digit student ID number.

On the Web

	1. Go to soraapp.com/library/hidoe and sign in with student ID number.
	2.   Under your Profile, select Add a public library and enter Hawaii State Public Library System.
	3. Find a book and click on Borrow.
	4. Choose "Hawaii State Department of Education" from the drop-down, and sign in with your HIDOE 10-digit student ID number.
