How do I send emails to individuals and groups in the Librarians' Corner?

You are able to send individuals and groups messages through the Librarians' Corner.


Step 1: Login to Canvas at https://canvas.k12.hi.us


Step 2: Click on the Librarians' Corner card

Step 3: Click on the Inbox in the left navigation bar



Step 4: Click the Compose a new message icon (square with a pencil).

Step 4: If you are enrolled in more than one course, select Favorite Courses --> Librarians' Corner


Step 6: In the To: field, you can type in names you are looking for or click on the directory icon to select individuals you would like to send a message to. 



To send a message to multiple users in the course roster, press the command key (Mac) or the control key (Windows) and click the name of each user you'd like to add to your message. Pressing the keyboard key will keep the roster window open.


If you do not know the name of the library contact for a particular school, please refer to the current Library Directory found in Modules.


Step 7: Type your message and click the Send button.


You can reply to messages and see a history of your messages in the Conversations Inbox.
