The Shared Collection is designed to be a shared virtual library available to participating schools. Several school librarians and the Office of Curriculum and Instructional Design, Library Media Services have added many Always Available (unlimited checkout) titles to the collection that teachers can share direct links with students to check out and integrate as part of the curriculum.
Here are a few links to sample collections available in Sora. You can use this process for any collection.

To send a specific title to students to checkout, copy the url of the title in Sora and share the link in any way you are communicating with students (Google Classroom, Blackboard, your website, email, etc). Students will be prompted to login if they are not already signed into their Sora account. Click here for login instructions.
